Indiana Lieutenant Governor Heads To China On Trade Mission

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ The lieutenant governor of Indiana is heading to China for a 12-day agricultural trade mission.

The office of Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann says she's leading an 18-member delegation set to leave for China on Monday and return July 3. Her office says the trip is paid for by private contributions.

According to Ellspermann's office, the trip includes visits with government and agriculture leaders in China to promote trade for Indiana agricultural products. There's also a stop at the Beijing Food Exhibition, where a booth will promote Indiana-grown items.

Indiana Gov. Mike Pence went on a week long trade mission to China last month.
