Dangerous sub-zero temps expected this week

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Be sure to dress warmly this week. That’s because Kyle Brown of the National Weather Service of Northern Indiana says we’re going to get some “historic” cold temperatures this week, especially on Wednesday:

“This really is life-threatening cold that we haven’t seen for decades in this area. People need to make sure their cars, their homes, and they themselves, are prepared.”

The high for Wednesday is expected to be somewhere from -8 to -10.

Today, it’s snow we have to worry about, with 2-4 inches of accumulation expected for the Fort Wayne area by the end of the day, with significantly more for places like Steuben and LaGrange Counties.
