Angola Firefighters Label House Fire “Suspicious”

Saturday night, the Angola Fire Department responded to a house fire at 60 Ln 100B Lake Charles in East Angola.

Once crews arrived on the scene, they found a one story ranch style home fully engulfed in flames. Due to the amount of flames, fire crews had to use a defensive attack and all the work was done from the outside.

No injuries were reported, but the house did sustain $100,000.00 in damages.

As of right now, firefighters are labeling the cause of this fire as “suspicious,” and are still investigating.

If you have any information about the incident, you should contact the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office or Steuben County Crime Stoppers.
