FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): David Bisard's wife spotlighted testimony today in Allen Superior Court.

The suspended Indianapolis Police officers wife told the court her husband was in fact drinking in the early morning hours the day his patrol car crashed into a group of motorcyclists. That collision killed one and injured two others. 

Lora Bisard said he had two vodka and cokes hours before the crash.

She also explained she kissed her husband goodbye, but didn't detect any signs he was impaired or intoxicated.  She's a sheriff's deputy turned nurse.

During her time as an officer, she said she had detected and pulled over drunk drivers.
