SYRACUSE, Ind. (AP) — Authorities say an autopsy is scheduled to determine what killed a 12-year-old northeastern Indiana boy in his family's home.

Syracuse Police Chief Anthony Ciriello says medics found Skyler Spore dead inside the home Saturday afternoon.

Ciriello says two gas-powered generators were running inside the home but it's not yet known if they played a role in the death. He says the boy's parents and a sibling also were inside the home at the time.

Syracuse is about 30 miles southeast of South Bend.
