FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 10-year old boy was struck by train late Sunday afternoon in Fort Wayne.

It happened east of downtown on McDonald Street around 5:15.  

Two boys were playing on the train tracks just moments before.

Authorities say the train ran over the boys leg. One had just tried to leap onto a railroad car. That's when he slipped and landed on the track.
