FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): While driving your car in the city of Fort Wayne, you will soon notice some of the busier intersections with closed-circuit traffic cameras.
According to the Journal Gazette, The Fort Wayne Board of Public Works approved the installation of 16 closed-circuit television traffic cameras around town.
The cameras monitor road conditions at busy intersections and are a way to help out emergency vehicles, so they can see exactly where the crash happened.
The total project is at an estimated $240,000, most of which will be paid by the federal government.
