The Indiana Department of Transportation said if you're driving on I-69 or I-469 on Sunday, expect rolling slow-downs and ramp closures as American Electric Power will pull lines over the interstate.

All scheduled slowdowns, weather permitting, will take place between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and will be assisted by police.

On southbound I-69, expect slowdowns between mile marker 319 and 315 (Union Chapel and the I-69/I-469 interchange.) Also, the northbound I-69 between mile marker 311 and 315 will be subject to slow downs (US 27 North and the I-69/I-469 interchange.) And the last area is northbound I-469 between mile marker 29 and the I-69 interchange (Maplecrest Rd.)

Ramps to be closed during the series of 20-minute rolling roadblocks include both ramps from Coldwater Road to I-69 northbound; the ramp from Union Chapel Road to I-69 southbound; the ramp from S.R. 1/Dupont Road to I-69 southbound; and both ramps from Maplecrest Road to I-469 northbound.

If bad weather causes delays in work, the rain date is scheduled for Sunday, August 23rd.
