As you prepare for your holiday get-together, don't forget armed forces members around the world.

River City Harley Davidson and the Mad Anthony H.O.G. chapter are collecting donations to send to troops. 

You can drop off the items at Ehlerding locations in New Haven and at Glenbrook Mall.

Here's a list of suggested items
Food items:  Beef Jerky, Coffee, Teas, Hot Chocolate, Sunflower/Pumpkin seeds, Tuna in foil pouches, Gum, Hard Candy, Trail Mix, Dried Fruit, Small packs of Cookies, Snacks, Ramen Noodles, Cheese and Cracker Packs, Cereal (invididual serving boxes).

Travel size toiletries: Baby wipes, hand sanitizer, body wash, shampoo, toothpaste, Over-the-counter medicine (aspirin, ibuprofen, etc.), Band-Aids.

Gift items: Pens, Mechanicial pencils, Stationary and Enevelopes, Blank Greeting Cards, Crossword Puzzles, Playing Cards, Travel size board games, frisbees, Nerf footballs, hackey sacks, electronic games, batteries.

Do NOT send: Home-baked items, glass bottles, aerosol cans, canned food, lighters, matches, VHS tapes, hard-cover books, Hotel samples of any kind,
