Excellon Adding 415 Jobs, New Therapeutic Line

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Excellon Technologies in Fort Wayne will be adding 415 jobs as part of a $2.1 million expansion. 

The defense contractor will be creating a line of therapeutic products called “CapeAble” that will help women ease stress, anxiety, learning challenges, and other concerns. 

It will be spending $2.1 million to buy new equipment as well as upgrading its existing 27,000 square foot facility on Sherman Boulevard near Bloomingdale Park by 2019. 

Governor Mike Pence was in attendance for Tuesday's announcement.
