FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A firefighter killed two years ago will be honored this week as it unveils a new piece of fire equipment.
The Washington Township Fire Department announced it will dedicate a new tanker Wednesday in honor of Mark Haudenschild II.
The tanker will replace the one was that was destroyed in the fatal crash that killed the firefighter in November of 2012. That's according to the Journal-Gazette.
The fire department will have Haudenschild's wife and father dump the first tank of water from the truck in the dedication.
