Highs expected in the negatives next week

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Winter’s wrath continues to pummel northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.

The National Weather Service of northern Indiana says there will be chances of snow throughout the weekend before more arctic air arrives next week that could bring the coldest weather in years, with next Wednesday’s projected high temperature sitting at zero degrees.

ABC 21 Meteorologist Matt Leach says wind chills next week could even reach 40 below zero in some parts of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.
