Indiana Lawmakers Approve Police Education Bill

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): New standards for police cultural sensitivity training and reporting of bullying-related suicides could become law, pending the governor's approval. Education would focus on issues related to race, religion, gender and mental disabilities. The bill also would create protocols for emergency medical providers to report suicides when bullying likely was involved.
