INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Judges from Indiana's trial and appellate courts will pass out pocket Constitutions to schoolchildren Wednesday in observance of Constitution Day.

The celebration commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787.

More than 50 judges and Supreme Court attorneys will visit more than 4,000 students across the state, reaching an estimated 155 classes. The judges and attorneys will teach students about jury service.

Visits are planned in Allen, Clay, Dearborn, Elkhart, Fayette, Floyd, Grant, Hamilton, Hancock, Harrison, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Johnson, Lake, LaPorte, Marion, Miami, Monroe, Newton, Owen, Pulaski, Putnam, Rush, St. Joseph, Vanderburgh, Vigo, Wayne and Whitley counties.

The program centers on the Indiana and U.S. Constitutions.
