Paulding County Jail Inmate Walks Away from Medical Facility While on Furlough

                                                                  26-year-old Abbie Holton

PAULDING COUNTY, OHIO. (WOWO): Tuesday morning, around 11:30 a.m., 26-year-old Abbie Holton, a Paulding County Jail inmate, walked away from a medical facility in Lima, Ohio, while on furlough for a medical purpose. Thus, there is an active Bench Warrant for the arrest of Holton for failure to return.

The furlough was issued by the Paulding County Common Pleas Court. Holton was incarcerated March 16, 2015 after deputies arrested her on an outstanding warrant from 2013. During that arrest deputies subsequently charged Holton with several new crimes including Felony ID Fraud and Misdemeanor Resisting Arrest.

Holton needs to be captured and held accountable for her actions. She has contacted our office since her escape this morning, and has no remorse for the choice she made. Abbie uses her younger sister’s (Cheyenne Rain Holton, age 19) identify to mislead law enforcement and avoid arrest.”

Holton is approximately 5’3”, 160-175 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She has a tattoo on her right arm that says “started from the bottom” and a “peace” symbol on her left arm.
