INDIANAPOLIS (AP): A barbershop that helps Indiana prison inmates work their way back into society has begun donating hair to a program that helps children who've lost their hair due to medical conditions.
 
       The Indianapolis Re-Entry Educational Facility barbershop became a registered donation site for the Locks of Love campaign Feb. 19 and collected its first donation.
 
       The Shop is an Indiana Department of Correction minimum security level facility that works to provide offenders with the skills needed for rejoining society.
 
       Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to an autoimmune disease that causes scalp hair to fall out in patches.
 
       Others have suffered severe burns or injuries or endured radiation treatment or have other dermatological conditions that result in permanent hair loss.
