Scam Alert for Farmers State Bank Debit Card Holders

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Steuben County Sheriff's Office is warning Hoosiers about a recent scam alert, targeting people who have a Farmers State Bank debit card.

According to officials with Farmers State Bank, customers have been reporting that they're receiving automated phone calls from people who claim to be with Farmers State Bank. The caller then proceeds to tell the customer that their debit card has been compromised.

This is a scam and not the bank calling. Farmers State Bank does not use automated messages to alert customers of debit card fraud.
