Senator Dan Coats Votes for ‘No Social Security for Nazis Act’

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Senator Dan Coats (R) voted for the “No Social Security for Nazis Act” that takes away benefits from anyone who was involved in Nazi persecutions.

The bill passed unanimously in the Senate, and passed last week in the house. The bill would stop Social Security for those who are known to have been deported due to their involvement in the Nazi persecutions, and make sure their spouses don't receive benefits either.

According to a press release, Coats says there was a loophole that's now been taken care of, and he's happy to pass the bill.
