Lippert Components Incorporated announced a $16-million deal earlier this month to buy Signature Seating, a boat-furniture maker. Now the company says they plan on spending more than $675,000 in new equipment at their New Haven plant to make it more energy efficient, and will add 125 new jobs in the process, saying those jobs will pay between $26,000 and $72,000.
