2 Indiana Men have 1st Court Hearing in Woman’s Death

BLOOMFIELD, Ind. (AP) _ Two southwestern Indiana men accused of killing a 19-year-old woman and dumping her body in a remote lake have been formally charged in court with murder and other charges stemming from her slaying.

The Greene County Daily World reports that 25-year-old Jordan W. Buskirk of Jasonville and 26-year-old Randal E. Crosley of Linton appeared for their initial hearing Friday morning in Greene County Superior Court in Bloomfield.

A judge advised them of the charges they face, ordered them held without bond and appointed them attorneys. Both men face murder, criminal confinement and other charges in Katelyn Wolfe’s June 6 killing.

Her body was found Monday at the bottom of a rural lake tied to a 20-pound weight. She had been smothered and bound with duct tape and rope.
