$21.8 Million Coming to Indiana for Public Housing Improvement, Preservation

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): Over $20 million is coming to Indiana in the form of grants for public housing authorities. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Wednesday awarded $21.8 million to Indiana as part of their Capital Fund Program for major improvements to the state’s public housing units. Improvements include replacing roofs or making energy-efficient upgrades to replace old plumbing and electrical systems.
