Naked man struck in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana State Police say a naked man was arrested and struck by a vehicle in Indianapolis Monday.

At about 1 p.m. police arrived on the scene. The unidentified man was conscious and was being treated by Good Samaritans, according to our news partners 21Alive.

The man was stuck on southbound I-465 by a brown 2003 Toyota. The driver of the Toyota wasn’t injured.

Witnesses say the man was running around, flailing his arms and throwing himself against concrete walls and falling down while taking off his clothes.

The man allegedly stopped his car on the right shoulder and got out of his car.

Police say the man appeared to be under the influence of drugs and is facing charges of indecent exposure and public intoxication. He was taken to Eskenazi Health for injuries that didn’t appear life threatening.

The incident is still under investigation.
