Steuben Deputies Make Meth Bust at Barton Lake Home

Deputies from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office reportedly discovered a meth lab in the early hours of Tuesday morning at a Barton Lake Home.  They had originally been called out to perform a welfare check at the house, but when they arrived, they say they discovered drug paraphernalia.  They got a warrant and searched the place and found the alleged lab in a detached garage.  Corey Allan Whitsman of Fremont was arrested and faces preliminary charges of Possession of Meth, Possession of Paraphernalia and Dealing and Manufacturing Meth.  He was booked into the Steuben County Jail on a $50,500 bond.
