FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — If you’re planning to travel for Labor Day – double check what’s going along in your bag.

The Transportation Safety Administration has expanded their list of banned items with three new additions.

Cordless curling irons, butane filled curling or flat irons and gas cartridge refills are all prohibited.

Butane curling irons are allowed in carry on luggage – but only one per passenger and no gas refills are allowed. Traditional plug in hair care tools are allowed.
