Changes Coming to Sewage Treatment Plant

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Improvements are coming to Fort Wayne’s sewage treatment plant. The board of public works approved an 11.7 milllion dollar expansion of the facility. The enhancements will improve storage capacity on stormwater backs up. It’s estimated about one billion gallons of sewage ends up in local rivers.
