Fort Wayne development efforts attracting developers from other states

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Efforts by Fort Wayne officials to improve the downtown area are getting some out-of-state attention.

Fort Wayne’s work to develop the downtown area has started to attract national attention, according to Greater Fort Wayne, Inc. The group tells our partners in news at 21Alive a number of developers from out-of-town have reached out and expressed interest in coming to the downtown and riverfront areas, including the currently vacant General Electric campus.

At least one developer from Baltimore has confirmed looking into Fort Wayne recently.
