Arrest Made in Homicide Investigation

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  Fort Wayne Police have made an arrest in connection with the June 9th shooting death of Jabron Totton. 

Late Friday, officers located 36-year-old Eric Smith of Fort Wayne, and took him into custody. 

Smith was taken to the Allen County Jail on a murder charge, but in the meantime, the incident remains under investigation.

Totton, of Fort Wayne, was fatally shot on June 9, 2013 after an altercation early in the morning. The incident happened around 3:00 A.M. in the American Legion parking lot on East Lewis Street.
