FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  The all clear has been issued after a suspicious package was reported at the Taco Bell on West Jefferson Boulevard.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Fort Wayne bomb squad technicians determined the package was just a transmitter used to locate and mark underground power lines. There is an upcoming construction project on Ewing Street that needed the use of the transmitter.

Police got the call to the Taco Ball just after 2:00 p.m., and officers closed off the area.

The all clear was then issued just before 3:00 p.m.
