FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) – A northern Indiana jury weighing the fate of an Indianapolis police officer charged in a fatal crash has asked to hear a recording of the officer speaking on police radio traffic.
 
Allen County court officials closed the courtroom Tuesday afternoon so the jury could hear the recording of Indianapolis police officer David Bisard.
 
The Fort Wayne jury resumed deliberations Tuesday morning after deliberating about three hours Monday.
 
Bisard is on trial on reckless homicide, drunken driving and other charges. His patrol car crashed into two motorcycles stopped at an Indianapolis traffic light in August 2010, killing a 30-year-old man and seriously injuring two other people. 
 
Prosecutors say Bisard was intoxicated.
 
The judge hearing the case dismissed one juror Monday for researching blood-alcohol tests online in violation of his instructions.
