ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Coroner has ruled a death from August of last year as a homicide. This makes the total count from 2013 45 homicides, breaking a record in Fort Wayne and Allen County. 51-year-old Steven Turner was pronounced dead at the scene of a reported car fire on Ferguson Road in Southern Allen County on August 7. An autopsy was performed, and the coroner has determined the cause of death to be blunt force trauma of the head.
