WHITLEY COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Smith-Green Community Schools will dismiss students at 1:10 p.m., Thursday afternoon due to excessive water and snow on the roof.

Leaders with the school are dismissing students early as a precaution as they say they already have some roof damage. In the meantime, some students in the school are being moved to other rooms as officials are especially concerned about the roof over the library and the ceilings in a few other classrooms.

All after school activities will also be canceled.
