Ohio Sees Record High Heroin Overdose Deaths

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP): State health officials say Ohio saw a record number of heroin overdose deaths in 2012. The 680 deaths were up 37 percent over the year before. At the same time, the number of fatal prescription painkiller overdoses dropped for the first time since 2003.
