Escapee Due in Court

IONIA, Mich. (AP): A man who escaped from a Michigan prison in February is due in court next week to face escape, carjacking and kidnapping charges.

Michael Elliot was captured in Indiana on February 3rd.

Authorities say that Elliot slipped under gates and made holes in fences to get away before carjacking a woman in Ionia. The woman got away in Indiana.
