FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Jeremy Washington is officially charged with murder. He's the man who stands accused of driving drunk and crashing into the car of 17-year-old Haley Nelluum. The Bishop Dwenger student was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident that happened back in March 2014.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Washington appeared in court Monday and has been formally charged with murder.  Washington was fleeing a shooting, ran a red light and hit Nellum’s car. Jury selection for the trial will begin November 7th. In the meantime, Washington is currently out on bond.
