FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Officials with the University of Saint Francis have announced the appointment of Dr. Lane Richey as dean of the new School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. 

An associate professor of theology and director of the university's John Duns Scotus Honors Program, Dr. Richey earned doctorates in philosophy and theology at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is a newly created academic school that combines the former School of Professional Studies and School of Arts and Sciences.
