LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): Early Monday morning, police in LaGrange County were alerted to 6 canoers/kayakers who were lost on the Pigeon River near the Steuben County/LaGrange County line. Officials say the group had no light and were near exhaustion. Crews located the boaters suffering from the early stages of hypothermia around 3 am in a heavily wooded area. During the recovery, one suffered a minor seizure but refused transport or medical assistance.
