Changes Possible to Current Moped Speed Laws

A moped speed limit bill has cleared the Indiana House and now heads to the Senate. The measure sets a 30 mile-per-hour speed limit for mopeds on state highways and requires owners to register them with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The issue has come before lawmakers three times in the last six years.
