Judge Orders Bisard Held Without Bond

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind (WOWO): Today an Allen County judge ordered suspended IMPD officer David Bisard to be held without bond on his pending criminal charges that he caused a fatal 2010 crash while driving drunk in his squad car. The judge ordered him to be held until his bond revocation hearing May 9th.

That case was moved to a Fort Wayne courtroom because of extensive Indianapolis media coverage.

Meanwhile Bisard will be back in court tomorrow to face new drunk driving charges against him. He’s charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 grams or greater.

During the weekend crash he wrecked his truck and tired leaving the scene. An officer gave him a breathalyzer and he blew twice the legal limit.
