Crews Pull Body from White River

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): An Indianapolis Fire Department dive team has pulled the body of a man from the White River on the city's south side. Authorities were investigating a missing person report Monday afternoon when the body was discovered. The name of the victim was not immediately released. Friends of the missing person say he was a Burmese man who arrived in the U.S. eight months ago. The friends say the victim went fishing with others Saturday evening, and after learning he might have drowned, they began searching for his body. They found it yesterday afternoon.
