Aid for Veteran Teaching Degrees Gains Support

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Veterans could have easier access to a teaching degree in Indiana if legislation passed by the state Senate continues to gain support. The Second Service program would require state colleges and universities to give education credit to veterans or members of the Indiana National Guard. Veterans would receive credit for courses taken during service or for passing equivalency exams.
