DANVILLE, Ind. (AP): The small television town of Mayberry is moving from the South to central Indiana later this year. Hendricks County will host a two-day “Mayberry in the Midwest'' festival May 17-18. Most of the festival will occur in downtown Danville, a city of fewer than 10,000 people. Scheduled events include a checkers tournament, a Miss Mayberry contest and Aunt Bee's Pie Eating Contest.
