Veterans Job Fair in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Some Indiana employers are looking to hire military veterans. The RecruitMilitary Veterans Job Fair is returning to Indianapolis this Thursday.

Expo Director and Marine Veteran Doug Turner says about 50 companies will be on hand at the Murat Shrine Temple in downtown Indianapolis.

Turner says the firms are seeking to hire veterans and dependent spouses. Turner says military veterans remain the most skilled, professional and disciplined of all workers.

He says more than 500 job candidates turned out for the event last year. Turner says more than 100 job offers were made at last year‘s event. The job fair runs from 11 am to 3 pm Thursday.
