Peyton Manning Returning to Indianapolis for Fundraiser

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) – Former Colts player Peyton Manning will be in Indianapolis this week for a hospital fundraiser.

The Indianapolis Star reports (http://indy.st/1ceH8Ig ) that Manning will be in Indianapolis on Friday to help raise $8 million to build St. Vincent House. The facility will have 20 rooms to provide accommodations for families of patients. St. Vincent is home to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital, which opened in 2003.

Manning and his wife are honorary chairpersons for the fundraiser. A gala is planned on Friday evening. 

Manning left Indianapolis in 2012 to play for the Denver Broncos.
