ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): An Indiana State Trooper arrested a man and a woman, both from Ossian, on numerous drug-related charges yesterday afternoon after stopping to check on their broken down vehicle on I-469.

Trooper Caleb Anderson stopped at around 3:35pm after seeing a gray Dodge parked alongside northbound I-469 near mile marker 14 in Allen County.  After stopping and making contact with the couple, he smelled marijuana coming from the inside of the vehicle.

The driver, identified as 19 year old Dillon Jay Jackson and the passenger, 25 year old Jessica Marie Dutt were both wanted on drug-related warrants.

A search of the vehicle revealed five grams of heroin, more than 130 grams of synthetic marijuana, more than four grams of marijuana, 15 Adderall pills and more than $700. 

Both facing a number of drug charges.
