LIMA, Ohio (WOWO): Students in a few northeast Indiana counties will be able to pay in-state tuition at a university in Ohio.

The Ohio State University campus in Lima has announced that it’s now offering in-state tuition to students in Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Jay, Steuben and Wells counties. With an in-state tuition rate of just over $7,100 per year, the move saves students in those counties more than $18,000 per year compared to out-of-state tuition rates.

Interim Assistant Dean Bryan Albright says the school is looking forward to providing a “high quality educational experience” to more Indiana students.
