More details released on deadly train-pedestrian collision

MILFORD, Ind. (WOWO): The Milford Police Department and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department have released new details on an incident that led to the death of a 16-year-old from Milford.

Police were called to the Syracuse Street rail crossing at about 6:30pm Monday. Norfolk Southern officials told police a person had walked into the path of the train and was hit just south of the crossing.

16-year-old Samuel Allen Pamer was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident is still currently under investigation.
