Wolcottville boil advisory lifted

WOLCOTTVILLE, Ind. (WOWO): Wolcottville residents can once again drink tap water without boiling it first.

The town was under a boil advisory that started Saturday evening and lasted through 10:30am today thanks to a weekend fire. Our Partners in News at ABC 21 report firefighters essentially emptied the town’s water tower, using more than twice the amount residents use in a normal day, fighting a fire at a business.

As a result of the drop in water pressure, the boil advisory was issued until state water officials were able to review samples and give the all-clear.
