DECATUR, Ind. (WOWO): You can start picking up sandbags in Adams County next week.

Adams County Emergency Mangement has announced that sandbag pickup will start on Saturday, August 15th at 8 AM and they are asking for volunteers. 

Thousands of sandbags were placed to stop rising waters in Decatur and they now need to be removed. 

If you've contacted the Adams County EMA about sandbag pickup at your property, residence, or business, you do not need to call again.
