FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  The Fort Wayne-South Bend Diocese has confirmed that Rev. Cornelius Ryan,CSC, who was serving as the administrator of St. Joseph Catholic Church-Hessen Cassel is under investigation by the Congregation of the Holy Cross for quote “credible allegations of sexual abuse.”  

The claims, according to the diocese happened while Ryan served in Africa 20 years ago. Ryan was removed from his position June 10.
