A final ruling has been made on the death of Gladys Dye. The Elderly woman from Fort Wayne was in a crash on September 25th on State Road 1 and Tonkel. She was treated a local hospital and released, however, she was later found unconscious at her home on September 26th. After an autopsy was performed it was found that she died from blunt force trauma due to the accident.

This ruling makes the 34th traffic fatality for Fort Wayne and Allen County this year.
